Terms of use

DRAFT for owner review before launch. Items marked [OWNER] need your details or decision.

Last updated: [OWNER: date of publication]

By playing Jackdaw you agree to these terms. Jackdaw is provided by Carlisle Technology [OWNER: legal name].

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old.

Play fair and be kind

• Don't cheat. That includes telling another player about your cards by any means outside the game, and using more than one account at the same table.
• Don't deliberately disrupt games, for example by stalling or repeatedly leaving.
• Don't harass other players or misuse the report system.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Your account

Your account lives on your device until you back it up with an account key or a passkey. Keep your account key private: anyone who has it can take over your account. You can delete your account at any time (see how).

The service

Jackdaw is free. We may change, interrupt or end the service, and we may reset ratings or statistics. The game is provided "as is", without warranties, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use. [OWNER: governing law and jurisdiction]
